PATREON EXCLUSIVE
GENERAL INFO/ PRICING
Commissions are now exclusively for PATREONS AND PARTNERS ONLY starting in 2023!
Please read EVERYTHING on this page before going forward with a pin!
2 payments are required for a custom pin!
- You pay me for my time/ artwork/ services in arranging the order. The cost is $200 USD + tax. (This payment is preferred as an E-transfer if you are Canadian so no extra fees are lost! Paypal if you are not Canadian)
- A payment is made directly to the NPC manufacturer (by you) for the amount that will appear on the final ‘invoice’ which is from $120-160 on average but can get higher depending on how crazy we get with designs! (This payment will be made through Paypal)
____________
Manufacturing: You pay it as it is! Does your character have a lot of colors? Intricate clothing or design? Expect a higher end of the cost. Specialty items/ platings etc? May cost a pinch more! See disclaimers below for some ‘add ons’ that do have a set price! Payment for manufacturing is due the first month listed in your column. Please have the money set aside and be prepared to pay with no delays exceeding 48h.
- For a custom pin, the absolutely safe amount I would advise setting aside is $ 200 USD for manufacturing. I have done pins that come out to less than $120! However, I would like you to be prepared rather than surprised when the bill arrives!
- My manufacturer does not have ‘set pricing’ based on the number of colors, since Hard enamel pins are handmade, they typically base the quote on the ‘complication’ of the design when preparing the final vector file.
Shipping: Will be included in your invoice to the manufacturer! This cost is not considered in the ‘manufacturing estimate’ but is typically to be $45-$65 USD for Tracked, Express international shipping varying based on your location. (This will be included in your Manufacturing payment)
- NaysPinClub is not responsible for third-party/ country duties and import tariffs.
- I will take your address and phone number provided by your Patreon. If you do not have your phone number updated on your Patreon, it will be required to update! Please notify me at the time of commissioning if the address will be different from Patreon!
- In the scenario of a public opening, Shipping Information will be collected by email!
- (If you are commissioning through a partner, they will collect all required information from you and forward it to me!)

TOS/ DISCLAIMERS
Always refer back to this TOS if you have any questions. It is important to read and know what to expect.
There are 3 mandatory steps to commissioning a pin for ease of delivery and contact:
1] Reading these terms of service in their entirety to know what to expect.
2] Following your Trello card to stay up to date with your pin.
3] Check the Pinned messages and Update channel on Telegram for updates/ manufacturing photos, etc.
Customer and Commercial Rights
- You do not have commercial rights to the artwork. To purchase limited rights is a one-time fee of $ 100 USD. Commercial rights are limited to only the right to reproduce the existing artwork as it is, in the form of merchandise.
- Merchandise created for commercial use must be approved, even when the fee is paid before production may happen.
- To discuss any commercial usage further must be discussed and the fee is subject to change based on the details.
- While a customer may purchase limited commercial rights, NPC still holds all rights.
- Commercial rights can be revoked without refund, and rights revoked to continue selling the items made for profit if this ToS is breached.
- I reserve all rights to my art and it can be used as I see fit. This may be used for promotions, free pins, giveaways, etc. No artwork is excluded.
- Your finished artwork will be uploaded to Trello for you to have. If you crop the file, you must credit or re-watermark with my website or name.
- Pin artwork is done on a smaller canvas as the only intended use of the artwork is to be made into an enamel pin. If you purchase Limited Commercial rights from the beginning, the artwork will automatically be done in a higher resolution. Please note that I do not have the ability to make vectors, but you are permitted to convert your piece with limited commercial rights into a vector for producing other scalable items.
- You have full rights to sell or trade your pins as you please with your initial purchase.
- Pins are not allowed to be listed for sale/ Pre-order until the final artwork is confirmed and in manufacturing.
- When listing online, please include in the title/name and tags ‘NaysPinClub’ all one word.
- You can lose the right to use your artwork if you fail to pay your manufacturing bill when it is due. NPC does not offer ‘just artwork’.
- It is recommended to have a concept provided. If you do not provide a concept and grant artistic freedom, you will not be allowed to make changes other than minor changes to a sketch, such as a missed item, marking, or expression. Concepts while if provided, May be altered if the pose is too generic or conflicts with another pin in the batch.
Manufacturing
- PANTONES: Limited colors exist, and it is best for you to research and select your own pantones to better understand what is available.
- LINEART: It is possible to experience some thick plating (Line-art) in the plating process. Line art in the physical pin can be ‘heavier’.
- GLOW: Colors with glow pigments added in can slightly change color ( yellow/ greenish) which is not avoidable. Glow costs extra.
- GLITTER: Glitter is not advised for small spots as it is hand-mixed into the enamel. Glitter can cause more B grades (traveling glitter/ darker specks, not fully filled sections, etc.) Glitter costs extra.
- MANU ERROR: In the possible scenario of a manufacturer error or a color settling too differently from the art, the factory will re-make the pin or discount on a future design. This can delay delivery by an extra month if re-made.
- COLOR DIFFERENCE: The physical pin can be subject to slight color change as the manufacturer utilizes hand-mixed enamels created to the best of their ability, but they can bake/ settle slightly differently. Only a significant difference from the artwork will call for a remake from the manufacturer. Very light colors are often not possible. If you do not provide your own pantones and make yourself aware of what exists, slight color differences may cause disappointment. It’s highly recommended to be open-minded that a hand-crafted object may slightly differ from your character on a digital screen.
- SCREENPRINTING: Screen printing is often skewed in placement by 0.01%-0.03%. If a screen-printed pin ever needs a re-print, the Screenprint set-up fee must be paid again. It is suggested to order extra ahead instead of re-ordering. Additional colors of screen-printing will also increase the cost of the pin for set-up fees. Slightly skewed screenprinting will not be considered a B grade. Screen printing runs $20-25 USD per color. Generally, this is required for small detailed markings, and especially ‘spots’ like on a snow leopard, etc.
- TIMEFRAME: The average timeframe for manufacturing is 25 business days from payment! However, please note that extra steps added into the process can extend the production time. If your pin is expected to have an extended production time, this can be found on your trello card.
Re-orders/ Expiration
- You can re-order your pin at any time and It will go in with my next order, however, the individual cost may be higher on a re-order, as material costs can rise. Contact me by email any time to Re-order.
- Moulds/ pins are retired YEARLY. Due to the size of pin moulds, only about 100 moulds are kept open at a given time before they are recycled by the factory. By the time a new season of pins starts, you can expect the previous season to be retiring/retired.
- When it is approaching 1 year after your pins creation, you can expect the mould to be about ready to expire. Re-ordering before the year is up typically will re-open the mould for another calendar year.
Do’s And Don’ts / B-Grades
- Small details such as teeth, nails, split-tone eyes, and very small fills can be subject to fill issues. I will typically slightly enlarge items and details to help avoid fill issues. B grades caused by small details wished to be included will not be reimbursed. A small number of b-grades are universally always expected with an order of enamel pins as it is common in the pin industry.
- If you select a pin with many ‘high flaw rate’ items, like glow, glitter, small items, etc, more B-grade pins can be expected. If you have a very complicated pin/ design or have qualities that cause more common b-grades, it’s advised to order more than 50pc.
- I will not draw any appropriating accessories or clothing unless you can provide me proof (within reason) it is not appropriating.
- I will not draw any overly suggestive poses, or have any NSFW items or suggestions in my pins.
- I will not 1/1 recreate a previous pose I or another pin maker have done.
- If submitting art of your character for a pose concept, if not explicitly drawn as a pin concept with permission, please retain permission from the artist for me to reference/ recreate their piece for your pin concept. Owning commercial rights =/= rights to redraw the art. If you want a very specific pose, you must be granted explicit permission by the artist to be re-made into an NPC pin, Otherwise, it is suggested to provide a rough sketch to get an idea of the pose you want either by yourself or provided by an artist who knows the art will be re-drawn.
Distribution
- I can maintain stock of any and all pins made.
- I do not offer private commissions.
Other/ Disclaimers
- The terms of service are subject to change and it is your responsibility to follow and be in this telegram or update channel for any major changes while you have an active/queued commission.
- STYLE: Aspects of my personal style will not be compromised, Please ensure my style is a fit for you before committing.
- NUMBERING: Pin numbers are subject to change up until Manufacturing. Under no circumstances are official NPC ‘numbers’ guaranteed.
- FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE: A pin will either progress without your feedback/ approval or if a pin can not progress without you, there is a maximum of 1 month of failure to communicate before your commission will be forfeited without refund. Failure to communicate in the scenario of a pin not being able to proceed will result in being Scrapped*.
- FAILURE TO PAY: By commissioning, you are accepting and acknowledging that you know NPC works on a schedule. You will be required to pay your manufacturing bill for the first half month listed in your Trello column. It is important to set money aside when you know you will have a bill approaching. Failure to pay the committed amount within 72h timeframe without prior notification of a delayed payment or emergency will result in the pin being Scrapped*.
- If there is an emergency and NPC is properly notified, the pin can be pushed to the next batch without being ‘scrapped’.
- SCRAPPED PINS: When a pin is scrapped, you sacrifice your rights. You will not be permitted to use the pin artwork in any setting as NPC holds full copyright, and it can be re-purposed as NPC sees fit. There will be no refunds as the artwork has been completed and the first part of the order is considered fulfilled. Absolutely no part of a scrapped pin is refundable under any circumstance.
- PIN REVIVAL: To revive a scrapped pin and re-gain rights, (that is not blacklisted, blacklisted pins are final.), will result in a $50 fee to re-enter the queue. Pin revival is not guaranteed if you surpass 2 months from your initial ‘fallout’. An immediate timeslot for a revived pin is also not guaranteed and can be pushed to a later, available date.
- COMMUNITY STANDARDS: NaysPinClub is 0 tolerance and will discontinue/ not accept work from anyone who has a history of, or stands for (but is not limited to) Racism of any sort, Transphobia, Hate-groups, or Zooph*lia. We hold the right to decline any customer at any point in the process we see as not fitting to uphold community standards.
If you are found associated with any of the above after a pin is created, It will be blacklisted. - BLACKLISTING: this can also be a result of defamation of any sort/ tarnishing the name of NaysPinClub, harassment within the community or to any NPC member, breaking community standards, or an unsavory experience. Black-listed pins will be cleared out of my stock in any way.
- If a customer is blacklisted DURING the process of commissioning a pin, the artwork will be ‘fulfilled’ and then SCRAPPED/ BLACKLISTED. If your pin is in production, production will be stopped, and you will ONLY be reimbursed the value of the work NOT finished by the manufacturer.
- Blacklisted customers will have no rights to use or post the artwork, and the physical pins (if still in production) will be recycled with no reimbursement. If their pins are already in hand, will never be allowed to be reproduced, and will be removed from the NPC gallery.
- Please note, that in the scenario of a blacklisted pin/ customer, NPC will take legal action to ensure the NPC name is not tied to said customer, the artwork is not used, and to ensure the parties involved are compensated for their time and work and are protected legally against any attempted refunds by the blacklisted party.
- These terms of service will be attached to the NPC Invoice. You first agree to these terms at the time of commission, and you become legally bound to these terms at the time of payment.
We are a family, and we represent each other by sharing the same branding. The community as a whole can request a pin to be reviewed to be blacklisted at any given time based on the pin-holders actions, or NPC can executive an immediate blacklisting with no notice in severe cases.

TIMEFRAME
From intake to Manufacturing:
- The new member is decided (either through public opening or patreon offer/ raffle)
- Upon being selected, the new member will pay upfront for the artwork.
- A Trello Card <-(Direct link to queue) will be made for the pin, this card must be ‘WATCHED’ for immediate updates. (Please note that you may need to download the Trello app, or access via PC in order to leave comments and or watch your card.)
- A Sketch will be uploaded to the Trello card, and there is 24h* to request a minor change before it may progress.
- A finalized concept will be uploaded to the Trello card, there is 24h* to notify of an incorrect marking before it may progress. (Absolutely no changes other than if I miss something off the reference provided at this point in time.)
- Artwork will be submitted to the manufacturer and Vectors will be made. (No changes past this point)
- You will be given the final ‘invoice’ which includes the amount owed. You will then make a payment of that amount directly to the manufacturer to start the pins. (I simply provide you the PayPal email and you send it! Easy peasy!)
- The manufacturing final with pantones will be uploaded to your Trello card within a few days from payment to the manufacturer. I will automatically approve it if it looks correct. You have only 24h to notify me of any changes needed to a vector before it enters real production.
- Note*: Sometimes I may start work on sketches early, or deliver early to stay slightly ahead of schedule. You must ensure you are watching your card to be notified if I am progressing ahead of the schedule.
- IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO WATCH YOUR CARD AND STAY UP TO DATE. If you do not, and you miss updates, your pin will progress on schedule with or without your feedback. If there are any errors, it is your only responsibility to review your order and make sure it is correct. NPC will not be responsible for customer negligence of staying updated throughout their commission, and if a pin needs to be fixed/ remade and is not the fault of NPC or the manufacturer, it will be at the customer’s full expense.
- I do not send individual updates of your pins. General updates/ manufacturing photos are uploaded to Telegram updates. The manufacturer does not /always/ provide photos of EVERY pin for every stage, but you will generally receive at least 1 production photo!
